Around the NBA (12)

  1. Cavs dodged a bullet in NY earlier tonight. The Knicks didn't quit and almost pulled the upset. Damon Jones had a career night shooting and was 7 for 8 from downtown. LeBron, once again, didn't let his team lose.
  2. Sonics took down the Nets in New Jersey. Nets were coming off a back-2-back against the Wizards. Sonics have played surprisingly well during the start of this season and most of their wins are on the road. Defense is getting better also.
  3. It appears that this could be the worst season in Celtics history. Boston failed to win at home against the visiting Orlando Magic. I have voiced that Doc Rivers be fired sooner than later.
