The Wiz stopped the losing streak. Arenas had 9 turnovers and he almost single-handedly lost the game for his team. Butler is playing great basketball right now. Reports say he lost some weight and his actions on the court are showing big time. Jamison was hot early but went ice cold in the second quarter. Hayes played some productive minutes as well.

Joe Johnson of the Hawks is becoming the next Paul Pierce. He has the ability to score, pass, rebound, and defend well. His selection to Team USA was well deserved. Josh Smith had a bad shooting game. It was shocking to see Caron Butler blowing past him for the dunk. Atlanta went very deep in the rotation. Marvin Williams didn't play due to a broke finger and his status as a # 2 pick is in jeopardy.
