The Losing Streak Edition

Heat-Wizards (postgame)

Too much Shaq late against a foul prone Brendan Haywood closed the door on the Wizards. Jason Williams was red hot early and ended the game at 50% shooting. Speaking of shooting, Agent Zero went ice cold going 3 for 18 and missed all his 8 attempts from downtown. No Jamison, no Butler, and no Ruffin for this game. Also, Lang was cut and Mike Hall promoted from D-League to the team.

Miami: 28-29
Washington: 31-25

Wizards-Nets (postgame)

Arenas never has a good game against the Nets and it showed again in this game. Jason Kidd went crazy in the 3rd quarter with 19 points, most of them from 3 point range. Nets just outplayed the Wizards enough to win. Vince Carter had several spectacular plays as usual. Butler was sent home by Eddie Jordan to have MRI on his back.

Washington: 31-24
New Jersey: 28-30

Wizards-TWolves (postgame)

Game wasn't on TV so I didn't catch anything except the written recap. It sounded like Roger Mason had a good game, but Arenas and Hayes didn't. The strangest part of this game happened afterwards, where the Wizards players didn't have hot water in the showers. They had to be doused with heated bottled water. As DeShawn said, this trip has been miserable. Butler didn't play due to back spasms.

Washington: 31-23
Minnesota: 26-30
