Spurs-Wizards (postgame)

The game was an absolute beatdown by the Spurs. Wizards shooting continue to struggle around the 35% area. Too much Parker early, Duncan midway, and Ginobili late. The Wizards were down 20 at halftime; made a slight run; but the Spurs closed out any doubt of a comeback by the home team. The Wizards starters were on the bench with 9 minutes to go in the game.

San Antonio: 33-16
Washington: 28-20

Sonics-Wizards (postgame)

Butler was sensational, scoring a career high of 38 points. Blatche and Booth off the bench helped the Wizards sparked a very lackluster Arenas. Brendan Haywood also did damage and had 20 points and 11 rebounds.

Ray Allen was hot early on and then went ice cold in the second half. Wilcox did well but just not enough at the end. The Sonics choked another game with another implosion.

Seattle: 17-31
Washington: 28-19

Jamison Out 3-6 weeks with Spained Knee Injury

This could be a big blow for the Wizards. But, it could also be a blessing in disguise.

The loss of team captain Jamison is obvious on the court because of what he brings to the table. His offense is very good and it helps keep the opposition honest on defense by not double-teaming Arenas as much.

One blessing is that Wizards may not have to face very dangerous teams as the 1 seed in the East. Right now, New Jersey and Miami Heat are struggle but still could get into the playoffs. Either team would be a difficult challenge for the Wizards in Round 1. Another blessing is for Jamison to really rest. He told the press that he's been mentally fatigued from playing so much basketball. Well, here's his chance to take a break.

The Wizards should be ok from the loss of Jamison. My initial prediction of 44-38 is more realistic now.

Great year of recogition for Wizards

Gilbert Arenas somehow overtook Vince Carter and is now a starter for the East team.

By virtue of decimal points, Eddie Jordan and staff will coach the East team.

Finally, Caron Butler is recognized by East Coaches as an all-star reserve.

Lakers-Wizards aka Kobe vs. Arenas II (postgame)

Kobe and Gil put on a show, but the Wizards lack of defense in the 2nd half did them in. Arenas took 15 threes and only made 3. Kobe was great and Odom hit big jump shots. No Jamison is hurting everyone involved as Butler and Arenas struggled putting the ball in the hole.

Los Angeles Lakers: 29-19
Washington: 27-19

Wizards-Raptors (postgame)

Watched the game on Comcast. The Raptors just shot lights out from everyone, especially Calderon and Bosh. Bosh was sensational, making 15 straight shots. Gilbert went to the line but the lack of perimeter defense and the inability to defend the high screen and roll made the Wizards pick up another loss on the road.

Washington: 27-18
Toronto: 23-23
